Painted Treasures Farm - Broodmares
This is "Oreo" one of our five APHA mares
with her 2006 filly. Oreo has CW Silver,
Silver Jingo, Leo, Skipper W, and other great
names in her pedigree.
"Oreos Skip B Fancy", APHA # 240,012 is
also the dam of our double homozygous black
& white Stallion, "Alero". You can see his
photo in the "Stallion" section.
Oreo lost her 2008 foal due to a twisted
cord, and we are all heartbroken. He was
a beautiful little buckskin tobiano colt,
and we are so sorry that we did not have
the pleasure of knowing him. He has
moved on to a better place and runs free
with others that have gone before him.
This is "Lady" a homozygous APHA mare with
her 2006 filly. Lady has Painted Jewel, Skip a
Skipper, Poco Bueno, Leo, and lots of Skipper
W in her pedigree.
"Jewel Bar My Lady", APHA # 378,213 is
also the dam of our 3yr old filly "Marika" that
our daughter showed very successfully in 4-H
this year (see horses for sale page).
Lady had another black & white, blue-eyed
colt this year, and he is stunning ! See
foals page for his picture.
This is "Sally" a homozygous APHA mare with
her 2006 colt. Sally has Top Billing, By Jingles,
Aamerican Paint, By Jingo, and alot of racing
blood in her pedigree.
"South Hill Sally", APHA # 285,046 is a large
mare who is very sweet, and always has big and
beautiful foals.
Sally had a year off, but is bred back to our
very own "Sonnys Two Eyed Poco" for a
2009 foal.
Poco is a red dun tobiano stallion with
Sonny Dee Bar on his papers ! See Stallion
page for details.
We will get a red dun, or sorrel tobiano foal
out of the combination.
This is "Jewel" one of our four APHA mares
with her 2006 filly. Jewel has Painted Jewel,
Skip a Skipper, Leo, and lots of Skipper W in
her pedigree.
"JH Skips Painted J", APHA # 169,707 is
very gentle and always has gorgeous and
friendly foals.
Jewel gave us a really gorgeous and very
large lack & white tobiano colt on Feb 23rd
2008. See foals page.
Jewel will be 19 this year, and we had
decided last year that this would be her
last foal.
She has produced so many beautiful
babies over the years, and we don't
believe in breeding them until they drop.
We will retire her as a broodmare and
keep her as a trail horse. Thank you Jewel
for years of pleasure watching you
become a mom and showing us how it
should be done !

*************************************************************************************************************************************************
This is "Seneca" a cremello AQHA filly who joined our
herd in early spring of 2006.
She has gained some much needed weight since she
arrived, and we've spent alot of time with her so she can
now be handled easily.
She is just turning 2, and will not start her broodmare
career until she is a 4 yr old.
She is foundation AQHA with Obvious Conclusion,
Skipper W, Leo, Poco Bueno, and many other great
names in her pedigree.
She will cross nicely with our upcoming red dun tobiano
stud colt for a dunalino, palomino, dunalino tobiano, or
palomino tobiano APHA foal in the future.
We will consider offers on Seneca to the right home.

This is "Allie", a buckskin tobiano mare that joined our
broodmare herd in fall of 2006.
"Arizona Bonfire" APHA# 337,053 was used for team
penning, and is very well mannered. She will make an
excellent broodmare with Leo, King, Poco Bueno, Three
Bars, Triple Chick, and other greats in her pedigree.
Look at that body, and absolutely beautiful head ! The
pictures don't do her justice, and we will be updating them in
the spring.
Allie had a gorgeous bay & white colt on Jan 24, 2008!
We will consider offers on Allie to the right home.
